So I am expanding my grounds with this blog and would like to try new areas to let my opinionated self explore. Today that area will be Skincare products.

Now, I LOVE The Body Shop products. They are cruelty free, they (generally) work really well and smell AH-MAY-ZING!. But, they can be very pricey.
I recently brought the Drops Of Light Brightening Day cream, and have been using it for almost a month now.
What the products claims:
-Lightweight yet nourishing
-Will reduce appearance of dark spots
-Brighter, healthier and a more even skin tone in 4 weeks
-Skin instantly feels softer, smoother and re-plumped
What I think:
Having used this for a while now, I can confidently say The Body Shop have lived up to the claims.
This product HAS been great for me. My skin tone is definitely more even. Skin is significantly softer and smoother. The cream itself smells divine and is definitely lightweight. My dark spots however have not exactly reduced or become less noticeable. I have also noticed that, for me, the cream takes quite a while to sink in, so instead of using this as a day cream, I have been using this before bed as a night cream.
What has really surprised me about this cream, is that my blemishes / spots have noticeably reduced. From the first time I tried the cream, my forehead (which is a problem area for me) was slightly clearer than the night before. GREAT PERK! The cream itself was not made and does not claim to clear up blemishes and reduce spots, but it has worked wonders for me. Slowly my forehead started becoming more clear of little red annoying blemishes. *dancing girl emoji*
All in all, for the size (50ml), the price (£22), and the review points, the cream is definitely one worth trying. I would say to try a sample of the product first and see if it goes well with your skin before splurging £22 on a cream.
I do sell these on my depop, which I will link below.
I fully intend to try the rest of the products from the Drops of Light range from The Body Shop since I was so impressed with this cream.
